Yoga Stops Traffick in Mysore
The central event is being held in MYSORE, South India, the world-famous birthplace of Ashtanga Yoga and home to Odanadi Seva Trust.
For the past 20 years Odanadi has been committed to providing a safe haven for survivors of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, slavery, domestic abuse and destitution, both in and around the Mysore area.
Over the years Ashtanga Yoga has come to play a vital role in the rehabilitation process. This yoga practice has helped to rebuild physical and mental strength, and restore a sense of peace, confidence, and self-worth in many wounded boys and girls.
